Right.  I'm familiar with the Centronics 50-pin ports and have two drives
with those connectors.  Somehow, I never thought of them as SCSI-2 drives,
though, because I've had them for so long. @_@

I've been told the drives in question have 68-pin connectors on them.  This
is a type I don't recall ever seeing.

That's right.  I recall people looking for the elusive 68-pin adapters and,
IIRC, they are expensive and hard to find.  Since this is something I
haven't needed before, though, I haven't paid close attention to it.  If my
assertion is wrong, (someone) please correct me.  Does anyone have a
ballpark price range for these cables?

That's fine.  I suspected that this was the alternate scenario, but needed
it affirmed.  I really do not want to "invest" in a SCSI card right now when
all I'm trying to do is Get Out of Dodge.
