A friend of mine had such a frustration at a 9500, and took a hammer to it awhile back ... still regrets having done so.
I was going to upgrade my 9500 with a faster cpu (currently have a g3/500) ... but as a starving artist, I cannot afford to invest further.
I love my Macs (an 8500 and a 9500) ... upgrades and limitations and all ... but will wait for more funds to buy a faster bus'ed Mac in the future.
