Dear Rkayblock,

I am sorry to hear of your Mac troubles. I am more "ancient" than any of my Macs. LOL. I will be 82 in Feb. & I have upgraded, installed, added Firewire & USB ports, put in my own DSL system, upgraded processors, added memory and hard drives, both internal & external, etc., all successfully. I can't understand the problems! Of course, I live in Silicon Valley (about 1 mile from Apple Hdq. at #1 Infinity Loop! LOL,) but that is no reason--not at MY age. I love my Macs & I don't think anyone could GIVE me a Windows machine. LOL! Macs are usually so easy, so trouble free, so elegant, so virus free, etc. that I wouldn't consider anything else! Good luck out there in Bill Gates World!
