Contrary to what that quote "approved list" states, I have
personally tried some of them and they did not work.  What I
have been using that works for sure (for athlon PC's) is the
Leadman 'PowMax' 6100C (300 watt) or 6100D (400 watt).  I
actually tried some approved Sparkle's and an HEC unit that
did not work.

For you next step, first I would 'gut' the board and periph's
(only have the mem, cpu and video card connected) and see
what happens then, I've seen 'suspect' cards and drives keep
a system from powering up before.

Yes Clint it actually is one of AMD's top rated approved
power
supplies.  I'm taking it to my supplier so he can develop
migraines.
