Well Clint, to attempt to mimic your problem I did a quick uninstall of
Fireworks 3 times and was unable to reproduce your error, my 98 was
reformatted this year but if you are in the habit of
installing/uninstalling a lot of shareware/freeware/software then your
associations file can become a tangled nightmare very quickly for windows
to attempt to decipher. IE 5.5 likes PNG files, IE 5 does but not very
well, and netscape 4.x is another can of ugly worms, <BTW> netscape 6 likes
PNG files very much. I don't think the issue is with Fireworks whatsoever
and I saw nothing at the Fireworks knowledge base either. Besides, it's
spring cleaning time and I'm sure you are fluent with how much windows
95/98/Me likes to be cleaned out, especially if spring came 4 times a
year. HTH
