Hi Debbie: Don't know if this will help your situation or not. BUT mine did
the
exact same thing. If I turned it off at the box and started over, it would
work
almost always. Otherwise, I would do CTRL, ALT, DEL, then go to Modems, make
sure it was on the right port, click ok, and I was off. Maybe your modem is
acting silly too. Janet
