Hi Linda, I think you misunderstand me, or vice-versa. In these programs, I want what I type to be displayed. I do not need automatic decimal points, scientific numerals, etc. If I type 100401, this is a model number, not a date which the programs tries to make a date..I need this auto formatting turned off. I believe I did some of the cells, by accident, then a small green triangle shows up in the corner of the cell. Can I turn of all special automatic formatting for these?
