Jeff......I'm not sure why this "autoformatting" is happening.....it must be something that's coming in with the file?......if you open a blank Excel sheet and manually type in one of these numbers, does Excel try to turn it into a date? what does the number look like?

If I drag the CSV file into the blank portion of the Excel window it will open, but the cells are 'auto-formatted to dates and other formulas it recognizes. I have a program that I import these to, but can only import with the commas separating the fields I need the default option in Excel to stop auto-formatting these fields.
