Strange indeed. I have a LAN with two different printers defined. Pacer1
(Main PC has an HPLJ 6P hooked to LPT1) and shows up on PC2 and PC3 under
MyComputer -->Printers as Properties --> Details tab
Print to the following Port: \\Pacer1\hplj6p

The 2nd printer (Epson On Pacer2) is defined to LPT1 on that machine and
doesn't conflict with the shared printer on LPT1 on Pacer1. Both are listed
under Printers for PC2 (but one is shared and shows the little blue hand)
while the other one doesn't. I have the HPLJ (Pacer1, shared, set as the
default) but that doesn't prevent me from printing color to the Epson on PC2
LPT1 port.

Have you tried the Details tab --> Add Port button?
You may have to delete (unselect the Network) port and click on Other and
add Local Port to get the LPT1 on PC2 to be distinct from LPT1 on PC1. I
think this is what I had to do.
