Hi Vern, I've done the same thing as you have as well.  Are you running xp 
and 98 as a dual boot setup? If it is not set up to dual boot then you will 
have conflicts arising. Do you have the latest Zone Alarm installed on the 
xp side?  I recommend you do uninstall Zone Alarm and reinstall it and then 
go through all the application confirmations again.
