first of all, Jeff.....there is no Outlook 2001.....there is Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2002
secondly......there is a service pack for 2002 that changes all incoming mail to plain text, but you can't do it in 2000 if you have 2002, you can read about this and get the service pack (SP1) here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q307594 Linda Linda's Computer Stop http://www.personal-computer-tutor.com/ Editor, ABC ~ All 'Bout Computers http://www.personal-computer-tutor.com/ABC.htm Online Instructor, Eclectic Academy http://www.eclecticacademy.com/index.htm -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Jeff Dougherty Sent: Sunday, January 20, 2002 12:20 AM To: PCWorks mailing list Subject: PCWorks: Outlook 2001, customizing*2nd request Hello, Can someone tell me if there is a way to always send email in plain text. Since some people ignore rules about posting HTML emails, on lists, when I reply to HTML emails, the default is always HTML. I have to manually change to plain text. In Outlook Express, I had an option to NOT send mail in same format received. Is this option gone in 2001? I even have each list set up to send in plain text but this is over-ridden in replies. Thank you. Jeff ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
