Linda,
Thank you. I should have checked that. I have Outlook that comes with
Office XP(2002).
I am working on this right now.
Can you tell me, how will this work with newsletters that come through
with web pages imbedded? Will they still be readable?
Thanks for your time.

first of all, Jeff.....there is no Outlook 2001.....there is Outlook
2000
and Outlook 2002

secondly......there is a service pack for 2002 that changes all incoming
mail to plain text, but you can't do it in 2000

if you have 2002, you can read about this and get the service pack (SP1)

Subject: PCWorks: Outlook 2001, customizing*2nd request

Hello,
Can someone tell me if there is a way to always send email in plain
text.
Since some people ignore rules about posting HTML emails, on lists, when
I reply to HTML emails, the default is always HTML. I have to manually
change to plain text.
In Outlook Express, I had an option to NOT send mail in same format
received. Is this option gone in 2001? I even have each list set up to
send in plain text but this is over-ridden in replies.
Thank you.
