As a buyer in online auctions, I've made about 30 odd small payments ($10
to $100 odd) through PayPal and have had no problems at all. It has been
very convenient, on the contrary.

Clint's point about security is well taken, but knowing that *nothing* on
the Internet can be fully secure, I take my chances. Definitely with some
degree of trepidation. But since PayPal is about the most favoured by
sellers, and other options aren't always available or convenient for me
........

Some sellers offer the option of making credit card payments online on
their own websites, but my guess is that security would be relatively
better with PayPal, so I definitely prefer that.

HTH. Cheers.
