What I said was for that - to open IE maximized, not shorcuts to it. You can always have a shortcut run maximized by setting it to do so in Properties If stretching the window to max size with the mouse doesn't works for your url shortcuts and OE links, try this: Open up IE to a page with some urls on it. Stretch it to the max size you want. Then right click any url on the page and choose Open Link in New Window Now close the first page and then use your mouse to stretch the new window.to maximized size. Once maxed, close it. >From then on, IE and all new windows should open maximized. Something else that works, is this. Have the non maximized window open. Close any other windows. Then right click the taskbar and choose Tile Horizontally. The window should then open to a maximize size. If nothing works, then it's a reg problem. Both will be newly recreated. If you want to be assured of always opening a window max you can use this reg file I made for IE 5.5 Place it in your startup folder or run it from a reg run key. All it does is set the window placement to max so that whenever you launch IE, it will start maximized. Not sure if it will transfer correctly in this emaill, so unless you're familiar with the registry. don't try it. Email me instead, and I can send it premade. If anyone who doesn't have the problem wants to test it, just export the value to a reg file. Then resize your window to a smaller size so that it no longer opens maximized. Then double click the reg file, refresh and open IE again. It should now open maximized.
