Again. I want it to start up normal in loading win Me.
Depending upon what programs you have on your startup disk, here are some things to try:
1. at the a: prompt, type sys c: then press enter (a:sys c:)
if successful, the screen will say "system transferred"
reboot computer.

2. If this did not work, then reboot with startup disk again
at the a: prompt, type fdisk /mbr then press enter (a:fdisk /mbr)
note space between fdisk and /mbr
reboot computer

3. Next you can try deleting temporary files and the swap file
at the a: prompt type a:del c:\windows\temp*.* then press enter
next try deleting the swap file
at the a: prompt type del c:\win386.swp then press enter

4. Another thing you can do from DOS is look at your bootlog.txt
at the a: prompt type a: c:\windows\bootlog.txt and press enter
if not found then try a: c:\bootlog.txt and press enter
The last item listed in the log is the item most likely to have caused the problem

5. You may have to do a system restore from the DOS prompt, here's how
