By the way, if you have virus information that you think the listmembers should be made aware of, please send your info to me, and not straight to the list. I'll do the legwork and make sure that it is a real threat, and not a hoax.
I have the same rule on my lists--send it to me first!
I've also been passing out this info on my lists re automatic email alerts from Symantec:
go to http://www.sarc.com/avcenter/ and sign up to receive them. I'm not exactly sure what's going on with the automatic alerts--there's now some sort of pricing info on that page. However, if you sign up, you should receive the alerts for free--at least I am.
