I set up AVG to download an update on a daily basis. AVG will connect to its website backend and check to see if an update is available - if it is it downloads it and installs it automatically - if not then the update area will close.

The free ones are just as good, AVG for example. Last time I noticed I THINK you had to go to the website to update AVG, but someone else is going to have verify that. You may be able to update it from the interface every day. If not, that *is* a drawback to it. -Clint ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
