Well, here is the final update on my CD Burning problem! I started to save something to a CD using a non-rewritable CD from a stack that I had used before in my desktop. And the CD-RW drive still would not recognize it. I then went to eject the CD and the drive door would not open! Not after a reboot, not trying to eject it through the control panel, nothing!
So, this morning I called Tech Support, and am very thankful I always purchase a 4 year on-site guarantee on my computers. They'll be out next week to replace the drive. Clint was correct in his guess that it was a problem with the CD-RW drive giving up it's life. My laptop is in the shop as of today to get the Motherboard replaced, as the USB ports were only working sporadically. The fun never ends!
