Your email now says "Mozilla" in the properties, I guess I looked at it wrong when I saw "Outlook Express" on that first post of yours that had the odd character in it.
Well that's odd, thanks for clearing that up. ;-) Are you sending email in plain text? If not, it could be any ellipsis is being 'converted' to other characters during the HTML to plain text process before getting posted. Like with NS 4.79, I'm also very accustomed to, and comfortable with, its default email program (it serves all my purposes). I like that convenient email icon in NS's right side of the status bar. Maybe I'll eventually give OE a try. I'm beginning to appreciate the genius of Alvin Toffler "Future Shock" ... keeping up with everything is a b-tch. I've seen those same squares and vertical lines in many of my postings and could never figure out the reason. A clear example from this last posting was where I typed in <font> ... </font> (that's <font> space, three dots, space </font>), and it showed up as <font> </font>. It has to do with those three dots (ellipsis). Something there is changing into those squares. And I've sometimes seen when copy/pasting, they become vertical lines. Now I'm going to pay more attention to the occurrences and will be reporting back to ye'all.
