I read somewhere that all OE email is HTML at some level. In OE 6 click CTRL
F2 on a plain text email and you'll see the HTML source.

That was a plain text email, and in (OE at least) there is no
way to 'view the source' of a plain text email. I was able to
"copy and paste" it ok, it appeared the same as when it was
posted, but I'd still like to know what he was trying to do
with that 'vertical line symbol' () :-) I don't see it
in your reply, your email program evidently 'converted' it or
removed it. I'll send you a screen shot of what I and probably
other OE users saw.
