Here goes my scanner woes.. I have a Vantas 3100.. nothing fancy.. but very user friendly.. however I had problems scanning.. So I uninstalled the program.. also went into Regedit.. and removed the software from there as well.. Which is probably how I got into this mess.. Now I can not install it nor can I uninstall it.. When I go into the Control Panel..add/remove.. and try to remove it.. this screen appears.. ---------------------------------------------- Component Transfer Error Component SW5 Help File Group File Error Unspecified error ---------------------------------------------------- Is there any way for me to get this program to work again? I think I am way over my head.. Thanks for all your help.. You are a great group.. Liz
