No problem, but Im sorry, I was extremely annoyed, and tired seeing as
how I wrote that first thing in the morning and was in a hurry to get to
work.

I have AVG on my puter and I use the free McAfee but I have to get on
line to use it. It dl's first then I hit the "Scan" button and it runs.
Normally it'll take about 20 minutes (I think) to run through the whole C drive.
This time it took over 7 hours just to get through the first 4400 files.

I just had a puter techie friend of mine here and he looked at it
quickly and did all sorts of stuff to it, but it still hasn't helped. I still
can't run the spyware and it still takes nearly an hour to run defrag because it
goes in very small chuncks at a time and restarts about 40 or 50 times once
after each chunck. It took over 20 minutes to do the last 3% to 5%.
In a few minutes I'm going to TRY to run the McAfee again and go to
bed (if I have to) while it's running.
