All I need is for someone to tell me which one is missing.

What I meant was that within the first 6 months or so, AVG caught
nearly a dozen viruses, not that it caught one every night, or everytime I ran it,
which IS every night.

       Neither do I.

The same with spyware, > I catch something once in a blue moon..

Mine was like that too until a few weeks ago. Now it catches
something (Apropos, to be exact) every night!

I like AVG, I just haven't seen any proof that it's actually been
working in a LONG time.

I've not been able to GET to safe mode since very early this year.

The other day, Ed showed me how to disable them, minutes later when I
tried it, it rebooted the puter. /-:

       Okay, I did. NOTHING happened.

That's one off my next two plans. The other is, save my files onto
the D drive and switch back to the hard drive that came with this beast. Sure,
it's buggier than this one, but at least it works and I can do stuff I need to
on it until I can get a chance to reformat.
