Harold, I use a little free add-in to IE called Favorites Search that searches favorites much better than anything MS has given us. Take a look at http://www.dzsoft.com/favseek.htm . Once you install it, it will show up on your IE toolbar. It will let you search by names, urls, parts of urls or whatever else you can think of.

That's the whole point. I'm not looking for a URL; I'm looking for a Favorite that *has* that URL. Let's say I see a page that interests me and I am thinking of saving it. However, some time ago, I might have saved that exact page (site) but changed the name of it when saving it (I would often to that because it might be easier to recognize with a name I give it). Now I might want to see if I have that page before saving it anew.
