SuperFindAR-Pro is designed to work with the pagination assigned to a document by Acrobat. ConCordex will index based on the Acrobat pagination, or will allow for a conversion to account for a preface that might have pages "i", "ii", "iii" etc as well as an appendix following the last arabic numbered page such as a-1, a-2 etc. ConCordex is better for an index you intend to print out and place at the end of a book or article so it matches the pagination assigned to the document by the original author. SuperFindAR-Pro is better for an index where the user will navigate based on Acrobat pagination, regardless of what physical number is on the graphical representation of the page. Both will index for words and phrases up to 25 words in length. The Index Assistant is handy, since it will generate a dictionary sorted non-repetitive list of all words in a document which facilitates indexing for 100% of the words in a document.(The newest version of the Index Assistant - not yet ! released - allows for options to exclude numbers, 1, 2 or 3 letter words, and will generate a count for the frequency a word appears in the document.) Both SuperFindAR and ConCordex will import the word list generated by the Index Assistant to produce the final index. I'm not entirely objective about these three programs since I wrote all of them.
