Hallo Peter,

Arial CYR is normally not a real font, it is just a code page variant
inside the font Arial. Try to use Arial instead of Arial CYR. The name
in the font file is Arial, so Acrobat can't find this font.

Greetings

Hi
Creating PDfs from within Quark Xpress with PDF Writer, I can't get a
cyrillic version of Ariel to print, I just get loads of question marks.
In
Quark I use Ariel CYR and it displays and prints fine, but not in PDF. I

tried, as a last resort, wiping on the ?????? with the text tool in
Acroba
[5] to set it to Ariel CYR, but that font didn't appear in the list of
fonts despite being installed and available to other software. Have also

tried various ways of outputting - Distiller, Postscript on file and
then
converting, but nothing works.
I could use some help/advice on this one.

Best wishes

Peter
