Hallo Peter,

I've forgot to say that in the case of Cyrillic, you can also use Symbol
instead of Arial. This font works fine with all Acrobat versions.

Jens

Hi Jens

Yes, in the original Word file the Cyrillic was tagged Ariel but was an
extended code page as you say. When it imported into Quark [4.1] it came
in
as symbols and the only way I could get the Russian back was tag it into

Ariel CYR. Unfortunately this doesn't help with PDFs. Would it be easier
if
I used a PS version of this font instead? I don't have Ariel in PS at
the
moment but could get it if it were a solution.

Regards

Peter
