Acrobat is now up to version 6.x. If you are still using version 4.0, make sure and upgrade it to 4.05, or you're in for one heap of trouble. There were 11,000 bugs in Acrobat 4 (by Adobe's own admission). That's a lot of pesky flies.Sorry to be a bit slow about this... I’m using Acrobat 4.0 so, in view of these recent postings, I’ve had a look at www.adobe.com/support/downloads and found Acrobat 4.05 update 1 – but it specifically says that this is an update of an earlier version of Acrobat 4.05, and won’t work with Acrobat 4.0. Do I have to stick with 4.0, or buy a copy of Acrobat 6.0? (I’m using Macintosh OS 9.2.2).
