Jane,

You go to TOOLS > ADVANCED EDITING > FORMS.

You have the option of adding either the ADVANCED EDITING toolbar or the
FORMS toolbar to your document (see the last choice on either of those
screens). It's hard to find where the forms stuff is at, but once you
display the toolbars it's really slick. The select object tool (ADVANCED
FORMATTING) is used to choose the field you want to modify.

Where is the Form tool in Acrobat 6?

I am trying to modify a form that I have used through several versions of
Acrobat.

"F" no longer takes me to the Form tool, and "H" no longer takes me to the
Hand tool.
Grrr.

When I've had to make previous edits to this form using Acrobat 6, I've gone
to the Fields tab and selected my field there, and then modified the field.
Tonight I need to create a new field, so I finally pulled out the CIB and
read Lesson 12. When I got to the end of the chapter, I discovered that it
doesn't show how to *create* forms--only how to fill them out. Grrr again.

So I went into Acrobat and choose Help > Building and Editing Forms and it
tells me to...

...use the form field tool!

So where is this tool?

And why the heck did Adobe put in a lesson in CIB on filling out forms, but
not one on creating forms?

And why did they take away two good
shortcuts?

Grrr again!

Jane
