application and version, a description of how you made the PDF, etc.

I wish i could give you the answer but frankly I just subscribed and have a
question of my own somewhat similar.  I have authored a book which has been
published and I want to offer it also as an ebook.  Unfortunately, every
time I convert it to PDF, the results are somewhat mixed. as an example, the
pages are numbered, with the table of contents show each chapter at a
certain page, when it is PDF  many of the pages are changed as to content
and appear on different pages.
Sorry not to be of any help  but perhaps you can advise ME as to how to
write a letter as you did in asking this question?  thanks.  Stan Long
