Leonard, I'm a little confused now. According to Adobe(November 1995) CID Fonts are defined as "a new format of composite(multibyte) Type 1fonts that better address the requirements of Far East markets." The document has no mention of pdf and its relationship to CID. Are CID fonts different now then they were in 1995?
