Correct - because there is now a PS->PDF conversion engine in the OS, so it can send the PS, which CUPS can either convert to PDF and then rasterize and then send to the printer.

But there is something not clear to me.
n the cups log file I can see that printing from (Panther and) Acrobat 6.0.1 to a raster printer with CUPS driver the applied filters are PICTwPS2PS, PS2raster, raster2printer.
There is no PSNormalizer (PS->PDF) in action. Any suggestion?
