Leonard,
From Creo's website(the current maker of Preps):

Seamless PDF-In/PDF-Out Workflow

Preps is at the cutting edge of PDF workflow integration. In native PDF jobs, Preps automatically accepts all incoming PDF files without first converting them to PostScript, saving users time and disk space. The PDF files can be archived, sent to an output device, or exported as PDFs for viewing in Adobe Acrobat.

As far as what you meant by transparency, why so vague? What did you mean?

I thought you meant the transparency of graphics and transparent backgrounds of files.

Thanks,

Mark

Are you sure that it is indeed doing native PDF imposition -
and not PDF->PS->PDF?? Sorry to be pushing the issue, but I've had
a few clients ask me about native PDF imposition recently, and I want
to make sure I am giving them accurate information.

That's not the type of transparency I am talking about - but
it's nice to know it can do that...
