As a first time PUGster, it is quite an honor to partipate in a month
full of such fine photographs.
I mostly agree with the comments so far, but my favorite is "untitled"
by Ann Safedele. A great shot, the pose of the man with the umbrella
is excellent, and you're right, it was lucky that the cab appeared
just in time. A fine example of a "decisive moment."
Thanks for the comments on my picture. Yes, it would probably work
better if darker, but the way it is is closer to what I had in mind
when I shot it. I'll try and play a bit in Photoshop with it, though.
I was in Barcelona last week, and had the chance to revisit that same
spot, at a similar time in the morning. Shot about a roll this time
(as opposed to three or four pictures that day). We'll see how that
looks.
