Hi,
great PUG this time. Photos that have cought my eye, together with -
subjective - comments:
"Bluebird " by Bill Owens - simple and nice.
" Hairway to Steven " by Bucky - love this. Straight composition,
strong impact.
" Tired Musketeers " by Adrian Sorescu - like it, but shadows behind
their heads - backpacks - are a bit to dark for my taste in this kind
of photo.
" Looking Out from Pier 21 " by Frank Theriault - I like this one,
" Polish Woman " by Darek Zukowski- lovely eyes, interesting angle,
great portrait. Very bright left side might be to bright, imho.
" Preying Mantis " by Daniel Sheetz - another pair of eyes :) I like
it.
" Possessed " by Albano Garcia - my no.3 this month.
" The Driver Walked Away " by Byron Butler - very good action shot.
Being at the right time in the right place.
"Solitude" by Collin Brendemuehl - simple, peaceful, well done.
" Betsy on the Rocks " by Ed Mathews - great model, great scenery,
great photo.
" Walking in Place de la Bourse " by Gianfranco Irlanda - nice moody
shot. It makes me think, lonely but powerful silhuettes against big
monumental timeless building.
"Very Innocent " by Larry D. Nicklaus - what can I say - lovely
portrait. I like limited DOF in it.
" Toulouse Devil " by Daphne Schnitzer - thanks Daphne, I've always
thought that devil would be more redish, not bluish :)
" The woods " by Luis Pinar - another great moody shot,
" The Witness " by William Johnson - oh yes, this is my kind of shot.
No 1. this month.
" Campbell Center, Mt. Carroll, IL " - would be great if the tree
branch was a little bit elsewhere, I think.
" Heaven in Hell's lake Kuru " by Philippe Trottier - like it. It is
so peaceful. I'd prefer the boat more on the left for stronger
composition.
" Framed In Ice " by Mark Cassino - yes, another great shot from
Mark. Great use of that fisheye zoom. No.2 this month.
" Barri Gotic, Barcelona, 1999. " by Juan J. Buhler - just love the
mood of it. It's kind of dreamy shot. I'd like it darker and stronger
though.
" Grace, 1968 " by Shel Belinkoff - I just love window portraits.
" Back from the Moon " by Luis Salado - the title makes it work.
" Casual Visitor " by Tom Wannenburg - good macro work. I like it a
lot.
Bye, Matjaz
