Great composition with a little flaw. I would have left out the white frame
that peeps out from the left, under the banister.

Thanks for your kind comment. I agree that the little frame is distracting.
It came down to a choice of whether to get rid of it and not have the point
of the sliver of light on the stairs hit the corner of the frame, or leave
it in and have the point of the sliver hit hit the corner precisely. I
chose the latter, with some regret for the frame. I could have Photoshopped
it out, but that's against the rules.
