Don't knock yourself out.  It's more of a curiosity.  It will affect whether
I'm interested in another digital camera in the near future or not.

There was quite an in depth discussion regarding just these issues on the
LUG (Leica Users Group) mail list some months ago, since it was so
detailed I won't even try to answer the question but will dig up links to
the
relative threads in this discussion over the next day or so.
