With that camera, my first option for macro would be the M 100mm f4.0.
(I don't remember offhand if there was an A f4.0). If you can't find
one, then I agree with Bill; a very good alternative is to use a 50mm
(or longer len) plus an extension tube or two.  If you don't have a 50mm
or 85mm or 100mm already, then you should get at least one of these for
general photography in any case, and could nicely use it for macro work
besides.

BTW, the F or FA versions of the 100mm macro f2.8 are very nice lenses
which would also match the P3n and aren't tooooo far outside of your
price range.
