Discounting our real "poor" (40 odd million persons), leaves America with a
(lower-middle class to ultra rich population) of 245 million, credit card
carrying, home owning, expensive car driving, two TV set owning, PlayStation
and cable users, hamburger swilling people who to the person, are preparing
to pay more in local, state and federal taxes this year than most other
people can ever, ever dream of earning *in a lifetime*.
Take that and stuff it in your "chain of argument." : ))
