OK, OK... For those who do not know, there are a pantload of Pentax F and FA lenses
(maybe even K, or M42) that do not conform with the current form factor or designer
color.

Most FA * lenses (I can attest to the 24mm f:2.0 and the 85mm f:1.4) are currently a
Champagne. (Earlier models were an off white)

The normal FA color was a dark gray, fairly uniform throughout (as colored plastic
goes). The 'F' series had a medium gray barrel, darker gray focus, diaphragm ring and
mount reduction ring.

As do I. Or I did. Don't have a color corrected viewing booth, a densitometer, a
hydrometer, a viscometer, or a durameter, or a supply of Type C test strips from
Kodak anymore. Do have a "standard" negative and print, but they are more than xx
years old, and probably not viable, a "standard" thermometer (which tells me only one
of my 9 immersion thermometers is correct within 1/4 degree F) and lots of Color
"standard" matrixes and charts.

It's a pleasure to meet someone as picky as I. Stick with it - keep the bastards in
line! :-)
