Thanks Chris, I'm feeling better already!

Actually, I've had my eye on this one for some time but now I've got two
28-105's......no, not the rebadged Tamron, but the *original* Tamron labeled 28-105. I
always figured if you are gonna screw up on a lens purchase, you might as well go all
the way and not mess around with re-badged lenses!!

I've just got my first roll of film back from shooting with this lens....some indoor
stuff at a local ice rink here, and the pictures look VERY nice. It's a great handling
lens as well, balances very nicely on my PZ-1p. Slowly but surely, I'm working my way
towards getting a nice and usable collection of SMC lenses. I've got a good SF-10
outfit set up already, the SF-10 body (but looking for an SF-1n...I need help!), with
an F 50/1.7, an F 35-70 and an F 70-210...with a ZX-M as a back up.

My MX currently resides with only an SMC-A 50/1.4 and a Vivitar SR1 70-210/2.8-4,
while the PZ-1p has the 28-105 and the 28-70/4 ( when I want to go lightly), plus a
couple of Tokinas (28-70/2.8 and a 19-35) to round out the kit......

A few other odds and ends.....PZ-10, couple of Tamron zoom for my wife........

Yeah.....I think I do need help, I've been looking at Spotmatic F's lately......

<smile>

John

PS -- I'll be going on travel status at work for two days....hopefully I'll get some
time to really exercise the new 28-105 and let it show me what it Really can do.
