But since a new motherboard will have a much faster disk controller
built in, and 30GB ATA-100 disks are now less than $100, you don't
really want to throttle your system with those old disk drives.
And if this is for digital imaging, you will be moving a lot of
pixels to the monitor. 1280x1024 at 24 bits is a good start.
Can your existing graphics card handle that? Improbable, if the
system you have now is a Pentium/133. And even if it did, you
notice the difference in transfer speed between a PCI graphics
dds card and an AGP-2x card.
