 I used coax ethernet because I have three machines (have had up to four) 
and am too cheap to buy a hub.  Plus I got a whole box of cabling a few 
years back for only a few dollars at an auction.  I don't need much in the way 
of speed, considering I'm using old WD8003 ISA cards :)

 Two more reasons I want to upgrade.

 I am getting the nagging "buy a mac" feeling though.  I'm going to need 
SCSI for the scanner I have in mind, and the ease of colour calibration is 
tempting.  I might see what I can find secondhand, even a G3 would be a big 
improvement over what I currently have.
