I just checked, and the H1a is the same width and depth as the
Spotmatic and the KX, nearly as tall (less than a quarter inch
shorter).  Noticeably larger than the Super Program.  Could the
reason you don't mind their small size be that they're not all
that small?  (Then again, I'm not sure what you're comparing
them to (I just pulled out my Konica Autoreflex, and sure enough,
it's slightly larger than a Spotmatic in every dimension), and 
they do _feel_ smaller to my hands than the KX & Spotmatic,
despite not actually being smaller in most dimensions.  Either
that smidgen of height makes a really big difference in feel,
or the balance is different or something.)
