Yes, the lower half of either the hard case or the soft case
will do. Anything less feels too small for good handling. It's
the height especially that makes a difference to me. There is a
slight extra height to the Spotmatic compared to the
pre-spotmatics or the K2.
There must be 50 soft cases to every hard case but the hard case
is worth looking for. It looks gaudy with the chrome trim, but
the full case really does protect the camera. The soft case is
more like a weather and scratch protector.
