Small and light wins the day...
Super Program/Program Plus with the little plastic grip feels great in hand.
(The addition of that little grip makes it so much better!)
LX with a grip B probably comes in second.
...And an ME always feels right.
Bigger but still good...
Anything with an MEII winder or MX winder handles well, feels right.
Biggest (and I need to rest my neck)...
Super Program and Motor A - balances and hand-holds well plus the vertical
release button is a blessing!
PZ-1 - nearly as heavy as the above but truely a surprise. Seems to fit the
hand very naturally and I love the control layout.
PZ-1 with a grip strap - For when you've got a big, heavy lens attached it is
a great way to move the rig off of your neck. My hand gets tired after being
strapped onto the grip for an hour or more.
Other Pentax...
The KM, KX, K2 are a bit big for me after starting with an ME.
MX is the same size as the ME but notably heavier with a busy viewfinder.
ME Super's viewfinder is harder for me to use - eyeglasses mean I have to
move around and check the 4 corners to see what might have snuck in.
SF-1 ergonomics just don't compare with the PZ-1 sans grip.
