 I also prefer MF and primes (I sold my only zoom lens last Sunday) but I 
decided to get a Z-1p as I'd seen the need for TTL flash and autofocus for 
some of my photography.  The feel of the old manual focus gear just can't be 
matched but I would never come close to being able to track a moving 
subject with a manual focus lens and actually get a sharp image.

 Both the Z-1p and the K2 have their uses and I like them both, but for 
different reasons.  Being able to swap and share lenses between them is a 
real bonus.
