The ZX-M/MZ-M is a fine body. To be certain, this whole body series,
while not built cheaply (like a C* Rebel), is none-the-less lightweight
and not suitable for banging around. (But, unless you get the LX, none
of them is really built to handle rough or harsh treatment.)

When using M lenses on the -M model, you get Aperture Priority and Manual
modes. You lose the Program and Shutter Priority modes. You'll also be
using 2-segment or center-weighted metering. Sorry -- no spot meter in the -M.

But given the low cost of "A" lenses, you'll still not spend much and have a
good outfit. (I use a ZX-M with the A28/2.8, A35/2.8, A50/1.4 and A100/2.8.)

The main weakness would be age. The older, the more chance of failure.
My recommendation would be to get a ZX-M and spend some extra funds on the
extended warranty. It adds 4 years, taking you out to five. Not much to
worry about at that point.

ME Super bodies are also really old.
Besides, why spend $75 or thereabouts on a 20-year-old body when for
$125 a used ZX-M can be found here and there.
If you don't need the built-in winder, check out the P30t. Not as old.
A few less features. But pretty well-built.

It'll be difficult.

At least with the -M you can add the AA Battery Pack for better low-temperature
reliability.
