I don't think a image on the net would lose quality if you posted it in the same sizes that the Kodak DCS14n samples are posted as. (i.e. 36.9MB TIFF, 3.1MB JPEG or 1.5MB JPEG)

But I think a more useful comparison would be a same subject, same lighting, same exposure comparison.
