Chris, this may not be relevant, but I have a Sigma lens, and the rear cap will lock on an MZ body unless I use the "PKR" indicator to line it up, rather than the "SA" indicator (Sigma/Pentax 'A'?). Suggests to me that there are slight differences with some of the Ricoh mount dimensions which may cause problems. The lens itself is fine on both KAF and M mounts.
